February 20, 2012; Boston, MA –
American Made Heroes invites all regional and national manufacturers to join them in marching with them as proud USA based manufacturers in Boston’s St.
Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 18th. Mike Tamulis, founder of American Made Heroes and organizer of this event says, “We are looking forward to
having a great time while also presenting a visual message to our fellow Americans that our domestic manufacturers are vital contributors to our
national economy, national security, and our future prosperity.
All those involved in our domestic manufacturing are deserving of our respect and praise. Marching in this historic parade is our way of honoring these
hard working Americans for their contributions and efforts, says Tamulis. All USA manufacturers are invited and are encouraged to participate. It will be
fun.
To sign up to march simply go to AmericanMadeHeroes.com and follow the simple instructions. "We encourage all to come and participate but there will be a
limit to how many can march so please sign up as early as possible” asks Tamulis.
American Made Heroes has arranged very convenient and low cost hotel accommodations for those wishing to stay in Boston for the full St. Patrick’s Day
weekend or for just the Saturday night before the Sunday parade. This information is also available on the web site.
Tamulis explains that as America manufactures less and less domestically we thus depend on foreign manufacturers for our core manufactured essentials.
"America has now become extremely dependent on foreign countries and we are thus losing our economic independence which we have been warning about for
years. Now even our president is more aware of this issue as he referenced manufacturing over 20 times in the last State of the Union speech to Congress. We
welcome the president to this most serious issue", says Tamulis
Those who march with us this St. Patrick’s Day will have a lot of fun leaving with some great memories & new friends as well. Their marching is symbolically
important says Tamulis as their presence puts a face to the issue with our friends and neighbors all around us earning a living in manufacturing. According
to Tamulis, American Made Heroes’ mission is to publicly applaud and acknowledge these domestic manufacturers so that future generations will consider
manufacturing as a career and our political leaders will take the necessary action to support and protect these jobs from unfair practices used by
foreign competitors that has hurt this nation so badly.
As another symbolic action demonstrating how our United States of America local manufacturers contribute to their communities is that American Made Heroes is
coordinating a food collection drive during the parade. All collected food is to be donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank which is the largest food bank
facility serving eastern Massachusetts.

About American Made Heroes
American Made Heroes was founded by Mike Tamulis, as a simple way of showing his respect and appreciation for the efforts of the many domestic
manufacturers he had come to know in his career. Many of these suppliers, whom he now calls “Heroes”, could have off-shored their production jobs, as many
of their competitors had already done, but they chose to keep their manufacturing operations here in the USA. Mike determined that even thopugh many would
not direclty admit it out of humility but most of the owners of the operations decided to stay out of a deep sense of loyalty and responsibility to their
employees and their communities. Tamulis felt the need to give encouragement and applause to these good, hard-working people. It has now grown into his
mission.
American Made Heroes (AMH) is non-partisan, with absolutely no political preference or affiliation. The AMH organization is exclusively focused on
recognizing, supporting, and raising to higher public esteem those involved in USA's domestic manufacturing. American Made Heroes also recognizes and
salutes those among us who advocate in support of our USA manufacturers. Tamulis now knows how critical it is to immediately implement policies that
protect our domestic manufacturers against unfair trade practices used by many foreign nations that continue to cause great harm to our USA domestic
manufacturers and therefore our economy and our future prosperity.
