We request that David Camp act quickly on his below statement from his Congressional web site.
His inaction is noticed. His verbal statement without action rings hollow to his Michigan constituents. He threatens Communist China but has done very little substantively to protect Michigan from China stealing their jobs through trade cheating.

"We must enforce our trade laws so other countries do not have an unfair advantage when competing with our workers. Trade yields many benefits for the Michigan economy, but we must hold our trading partners accountable." -- Representative Camp (2011)

Ranking Member Camp and the Ways and Means Committee examine China's troubling trade actions.

Congressman Camp's concerns revolve around China's trade policies. He outlined this in his opening statement, saying: "China is not acting in good faith and is aggressively engaged in a series of troubling and downright protectionist policies that put our economic relationship at risk. Unless China immediately begins to eliminate trade barriers and end its policies of economic nationalism by opening its market to American-made goods and services, it could spur a breakdown in our relationship that will wreak havoc on both our countries and the global economy."

Senator Charles Schumer told the U.S. China Commission last week that he and other colleagues would push for a vote on China currency legislation (S.3134) "within the next two weeks." "No question, this is what is called a 'put up or shut up' moment for lawmakers," the New York Democrat said.

He blamed China's undervalued currency for millions of lost U.S. manufacturing jobs and thousands of closed facilities. “The Chinese will keep treating us like they have us on a yo-yo unless we make a serious push for our legislation,” said Schumer, who promised he and his allies would do so shortly.
