Staber Industries
selected as an American Made Heroes Company!
Groveport, Ohio Staber Industries is a family-owned washing machine manufacturing business producing high quality, high performance washing machines in the USA since 1976.
The second generation of Stabers, Bill, Jim & Constance now run the company maintaining the traditions & work ethic put in
place by their father, James E. Staber, who passed away in 2003.
In a very competitive industry where many better known American appliance manufacturers have out-sourced their
manufacturing to foreign countries along with their American manufacturing jobs, the Staber family has demonstrated their
committed to their employees & local community by continuing to manufacture right here in America.
Staber Industries embraces the traditional values of excellence, discipline, and skilled workmanship. This probably stems
from the fact that, for the employees, Staber feels like a second family. "When you all work together toward a common end,"
Bill Staber emphasized, "you develop a sense of common pride in the product that you make. We treat each other with respect,
and each person makes a valuable contribution. We are all exceptionally proud of what we do."
For their demonstrated commitment to keeping their product proudly American Made, the Staber family and the Staber
Industries employees have all been recognized as
AmericanMadeHeroes.com!
The Staber washing machine is the only top loaded horizontal-axis washing machine to be manufactured in the United States.
The horizontal-axis configuration uses approximately 60% less water for a wash cycle than a traditional top loading washer.
Because of this, the Staber washing machine has earned an Energy Star rating for high efficiency.

Alexander Hamilton |
"Not only the wealth, but the independence and
security of a country, appear to be materially connected with the prosperity of manufacturers. Every nation ... ought to endeavor to possess within
itself all the essentials of a national supply. They comprise the means of subsistence, habitation, clothing and
defense ... The expediency of encouraging manufactures in the United States, which was not long since deemed very
questionable, appears at this time to be pretty generally admitted."
