Cocktail Reception & Banquet at the MFA Boston Museum of Fine Arts Banquet! The grand opening of our "Gathering of Heroes" event begins with a friendly introductory cocktail reception where you have the opportunity to meet your fellow attendees and invited dignitaries. The affair is set in the William I. Koch Gallery, a former tapestry room (pictured left) whose 40-foot-high marble walls are now hung, nearly floor to ceiling, with 53 dramatic Renaissance and baroque paintings.
