"Not only the wealth, but the independence and security of a country, appear to be materially connected with the prosperity of manufacturers. Every nation ... ought to endeavor to possess within itself all the essentials of a national supply. They comprise the means of subsistence, habitation, clothing and defense ... The expediency of encouraging manufactures in the United States, which was not long since deemed very questionable, appears at this time to be pretty generally admitted."

Welcome ... I thank you for visiting and for your interest in learning more about our "Heroes" effort and the good people we believe play such a critical role in maintaining the social fabric & freedoms that surround us all.

We here at AmericanMadeHeroes.com recognize & applaud America’s many successful domestic manufacturers and the skilled craftspeople successfully producing products of real tangible value for domestic consumption and/or exporting. We are working on expanding our program so your interest and support of these efforts are both encouraging and greatly appreciated. -- Mike Tamulis, Creator/Developer of AmericanMadeHeroes.com

Support includes simply informing us of good local manufactures deserving of a little respect, recognition & appreciation for the USA jobs they provide & the other support they also so often give to their communities.  Click here for some examples of US manufacturers giving back to America with our thanks and applause as American Made Heroes.

In my testimony I will show that the Communist Party of China (CPC), through the Chinese government, thoroughly dominates China’s economy, and seeks to continue dominating it through maintaining and enhancing control of its major State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs)."

"First, we must balance our trade deficit by making trade fair. Some of our trading partners, China for example, have become our trading enemies by devaluing their currency, basically giving us their unemployment problem in return for buying our debt. Putting pressure on China to end their currency manipulation and illegal trade practices will immediately lead to more U.S.-based manufacturing -- jobs we desperately need back."

"Bread and circuses" ... America today? (Filmed 2008)

AmericanMadeHeroes.com focuses narrowly on the belief that we must maintain a strong manufacturing base here in America if we are to remain a truly independent and free nation. The analogy between America & The Roman Empire seems to ring true when we think of China's influence over our economy ... "The Roman senate was debating what to do about the barbarians invading them as the barbarians were ALREADY marching down the streets of Rome." More political leaders are seeing this now, yet more need to ... and quickly.   To learn about John Whitehead and The Rutherford Institute click here!

American Made Heroes  believes it starts with one, then another, then another .... welcome!

We applaud our Hero maufacturers making USA great!

American Made Heroes come in many shapes and sizes large & smallmaking fashion high garments & clothing, furniture, electric cars & space ships, software applications, toys, shoes, food, appliances, with each proudly manufacuring their products here in The Unites States of America.

The domestic manufacturers I have come to know are all very smart, very hard working, and very competative. They compete in a global economy within the USA trade laws that create an unbalanced & un-fair trading environment. As you get to know the facts you will understand that these companies and the people who run them deserve our respect and applause. They are some of America's best & brightest who are contributing more than they may know or acknowledge to the core fabric of our society supporting the freedoms that we all to often take for granted.

Below are just a few "Heroes" among many! ... Each providing USA jobs & deserving of our respect.

Many large brands decide to make gross margin their most important objective, but the result of their collective focus on margin has been a significant decline in the economic base of many American industries in many different cities. I find it particularly disingenuous when major companies that have built their empires on an "All-American" brand perception now produce their entire lines in China."

Given the savage nature of the competition you might expect Chesebro to vent mainly against Chinese-style capitalism. But like dozens of manufacturers and others across America interviewed for this story, his anger isn't directed at China, which he and others say is doing what it deems as necessary to boost its own people's prosperity. Instead, their ire is aimed at the U.S. government and American multinationals for not stepping up to the plate and defending long-term U.S. interests.

"The America I know must always be viewed as a land of free people and not simply a business platform from which to extract personal profit no matter what effect on their fellow citizens. We must also fight to not lose our economic independence. Economic independence assures the existence of America as a land of free people. The country I will leave my children is in trouble and I am gravely concerned. This is my oar in the water."
