8:00 AM -- Church of the Presidents, Quincy MA
Bus shuttle leaves 7:15 for registered participant & guests.
It is called the Church of the Presidents because two American Presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams, attended the church along with their wives, Abigail Adams and
Louisa Catherine Adams. All four are interred beneath the church in a family crypt. The pew which they sat is marked with a plaque and ribbon on the side.
A talk by historian David McCullough speaks of their life in Quincy, their deep love of each other, their family, and their deep love of their
new country and the freedom & independence they had fought & struggled so hard for.
A private visit to the Adams' family crypt is arranged with the courtesy of United First Baptist Church.
The Adams and David McCullough are honored as true
American Made Heroes
8:00 - 10:00 AM - Continental Breakfast - Freedom Room
At The Dorothy Quincy Suites ... below The John Hancock Hall, Boston
Not far from this venue named for patriot John Hancock is Boston's School Street which is appropriately named as it is the exact location of America's very
first public school established in 1635. There, on that ground in the heart of Boston's skyscrapers, patriots such as Ben Franklin, John Adams, Paul
Revere, Samuel Adams, John Hancock and many more received their early education. We created this gatering of heroes to applaud you
and to remind you that your country needs you now. It is that simple. Now let us gather, enjoy each other's company and discuss a plan for the
future."
